Social Commentary

I created a protest sign in response to a speech by Donald Trump, focusing on the quote “I was right about everything – They lie to me.” Instead of simply altering the text, I used tape as a visual element, turning it into a symbol of censorship, control, and hidden meaning.

This approach reflects how messages can be shaped and manipulated, particularly by those in power. By reworking his own words, I subvert the original statement and invite viewers to question the gap between what politicians say and what may actually be true.
